First, we have the Golden Globe Awards for Best Actor, Best, Picture, etc. Since we have a history of seeing on average two motion pictures per decade, we let that one pass.
More to our ilk are the Golden Flannel Awards, which, the home page states: “[These are] prizes for the finest examples of corporate drivel written or uttered in the last twelve months. The point of my Golden Flannel Awards (now in their splendid 8th year) is to celebrate business leaders and companies that have gone the extra mile to push the envelope when it comes to creative, best-of-breed drivel.”
