I will readily admit I know little about sports. One highlight of my parenting life was watching our sons play soccer. And I’m from New England so I should root for the Red Sox and the Patriots; but I’m a fair weather fan. I do watch. At times I am knocked out by what these teams can do when they are all focused.
Take for example the game between the New England Patriots and the Miami Dolphins on Monday, September 12.
If, as the cliché goes, there is no “I” in team, then here is a nice little example. Tom Brady, the quarterback, is apparently isolated if not “trapped” in the New England end zone. The Dolphins are lined up for the kill. It doesn’t happen. Take a look.
Does your team protect each other? Tell us how. (We”ll pass it on to Tom…)
