I went for my annual physical examination a few months back. After check in, I was led to the examination cubicle and instructed to replace my clothing with a Johnnie. I then sat on the vinyl topped table and awaited the physician’s arrival. I like this guy. Down-to-earth, knows a joke or two, but the bedside manner of years past has been replaced with an electronic counterpart. Less and less he uses a finger to poke me and more and more a stylus to poke the keys on his laptop. Now we have laptop manners. It ain’t the same.

The process of building a team of bloggers continues. Actually, it seems the term more commonly used is collaboration. So we have four people collaborating on a blog. But the questions is being raised as to what are their roles? WordPress suggests various user roles in its Help section. They are adamant that there be only one Administrator but the other roles are open for discussion.
Since our purpose is not just to have a team of collaborators poking at their laptops but a performing team ala Tuckman of honest, open and trusting people, we may elect to have one Administrator, three Editors and the occasional guest contributor. We’ll let you know.
