To date, the majority of the teams we have helped train using our Team Powered Success program participated via email and conference calls. Except for a couple of occasions, “meet and greets” where the members were within travelling distance of each other, we have not met the clients in person. But what has been helpful and serves as an icebreaker during the first couple of calls is to ask clients to send us a brief bio and a photograph of themselves. These serve as an ice breaker even if some of the members know each other. We recently came across examples of real teams that have created their own team page. We think this could be a useful device — along with a team name — to create a real team identity.
